Oh bummer… I got Tagged… Again!

.. with 27 years of history.. thanks to Eric.

***DISCLAIMER***
It’s simple and it’s your choice should you choose to dwell into my MEMORABLE past.

When I was born,
  • I was told that I was pretty huge and heavy for a 1979 KL baby.

  • When I was 1 to 5,
  • Moved to Kuantan where I lived in an military fortress with a super huge code "JKR251" at the entrance.

  • A visit to Ipoh, a dog named "Bozo" gave me a gash on the left-back portion of my skull which required 11 stitches.

  • Got a burn scar from *Batman's motorcycle exhaust on my left calf.
*Batman - a military officer who was assigned to attend to the cries of babies during the night, also a better name for a Male Maid cum Babysitter.

    When I was 6 to 9,
  • Moved from Subang, to TTDI which came to a temporary halt at Taman Seputeh, therefore moving from SK SJ, SK DJ, SK TTDI and SK LaSalle.

  • Attended SSGC and got to know Chun Keat and Sze Wei.

  • I found the super ability to wiggle my ears, nose which most of you do not possess!

  • That’s when the tales of G.I. Joe (1983), Macross/Robotech (1984), M.A.S.K. – Mobile Armoured Strike Command (1985), Transformers (1986), Voltron (1986), StarCom (1987) as well as Smurfs (1981), Care Bears (1985), Jem and the Holograms (1985), and My Little Pony (1986) came to realisation.

  • When I was 10 to 13,
  • Moved to Ipoh and was at LaSalle Canning Garden and secondary at SMI.

  • Didn’t really care much about what studies are or how life works.

  • Was excellent at Kunda-Kundi, Galah Panjang, Lempar Guli and Selipar, and a Fighting Spider Champion.

  • Loved trapping birds week-after-week and releasing them just for the fun of it.

  • I discovered that I dislike reading.

  • Worshipped at Elim.

  • When I was 14,
  • Realised Girls existed.

  • Hated them for they were supposed to be an Angelic being. Mana tau, they are just a bunch of rascals like any other boys I knew.

  • When I was 15,
  • Still.. didn't care much about studies.

  • Found the love for food and cooking!

  • When I was 16,
  • Life was boring.. everyone was somehow afraid of exams for no apparent reason. Life was like wake-up ~ makan ~ school ~ makan ~ tuition ~ makan ~ tuition ~ sleep.

  • When I was 17,
  • SPM.. ermmm.. so? Panic for what? Every week.. every month.. every semester and every year also got exams.

  • Attended RBS and caught up with Sze Wei. Got to know Paul through ping-pong.

  • When I was 18,
  • Went back to KL, back to SSGC. Lepaked with Eric a lot.

  • SPM Results: You get straight A's you go to from 6.. you get straight A's u go to College. You fail in almost every subject.. the College still pays you to enrol with them (Chun Keat gave some discount vouchers to study at KDU).

  • Enrolled into Dip 1 of the H & T programme where I got to slaughter chickens, cows, lambs and fishes.

  • Specialised on oven-baked food especially Lamb.

  • Chinese Opera (L-R): Aunty Sam – helpless princess, Eric – some ancient Y.A.B. Tan Sri, Chun Keat – blurr blurr fella, Jason – also abit blurr, Raymond – the bad guy, Me – the bodyguard of Y.A.B. Tan Sri that got killed, and Say Hong – another bad guy.

  • When I was 19,
  • Was skating with Ivan and a few others at Sunway and got my pinkie bladed upon when I fell backwards. Didn't really know what happened after I left the ice-rink. All I knew was there was blood everywhere as my finger bled profusely.

  • Assigned as a Management Trainee at the Shangri-La Rasa Sayang Resort, Penang.

  • Went fishing every day where I somehow managed to chance on getting my middle finger hooked. Again, as the fishing hook was super thick, the doctors had to cut my finger open. Got 7 stitches for that.

  • Still hate to read but managed to finish a super thick book entitled "James Hudson Taylor" given by Paul.

  • Came back and worked at Eastin Japanese Restaurant. That’s when the craving for raw fishes began.

  • When I was 20,
  • Fed lots and lots of ducks in Switzerland.
  • Memorable quotes: Armageddon (1999) by Harry Stamper, "Houston, you have a problem. You see, I promised my little girl that I was coming home. Now I don't know WHAT you people are doing down there, but we've got a hole to dig up here!"

  • When I was 21,
  • Landed my first full-time job as a Marketing and Academic Advisor.

  • Girls were still insignificant!

  • Spent a lot of time at Paul's workplace – sketching and drawing, carving and painting.

  • Memorable quotes: Gladiator (2000) by Proximo, "I am Proximo! I shall be closer to you for the next few days, which will be the last of your miserable lives, than that bitch of a mother who first brought you screaming into this world! I did not pay good money for your company. I paid it so that I might profit from your death. And just as your mother was there at your beginning, I shall be there at your end. And when you die - and die you shall - your transition will be to the sound of... [claps his hands] Gladiators... I salute you."

  • When I was 22,
  • Lalalala.. bumming and waiting for time to go by.
  • Memorable quotes: Black Hawk Down (2001) by Sfc. Norm 'Hoot' Hooten, "When I get home people'll ask me, "Hey Hoot, why do you do it man? Why? You some war junkie?" You know what I'll say? I won't say a goddamn word. Why? They won't understand. They won't understand why we do it. They won't understand that it's about the men next to you, and that's it. That's all it is."

  • When I was 23,
  • Aberdeen with Chun Keat.

  • When I was 24,
  • Came back as Eric's colleague.
  • Return soon after to the position of Marketing and Academic Advisor.

  • When I was 25 to present
  • Things do change.. for the better..

  • Noticed a young lady at church back then.. and thus.. every moment and everyday is as memorable as the days that are to yet come. The events within the years are closely knitted which, I am not able to conclude.. not yet.. not yet..
  • Adelaide Sunset with Kit's face on the right.
